Michigan Gas Utilities (MGU) is encouraging customers who are behind on paying their energy bills to contact the company right away and avoid disconnection. Winter Protection Plan agreements that began in November have now expired.

MGU wants any customer struggling with their bill to reach out so it can provide them with payment and assistance options. Customers who establish and maintain a payment plan are not at risk for disconnection.
